Agenda
- ‘AEOC authorisation management’ by Anthony Buckley, Chair of CKI Board. Obtaining AEOC status is just the first step in the process of managing AEO authorisation. Let’s consider the key elements of compliance, particularly the quality of procedures and the ability to deal with customs queries.
- ‘In the crossroads of managing export controls and sanctions’ by Annette Reiser, Owner of nettesglobaltrade. Expect the unexpected. Even though political decisions can all the suddenly disrupt supply chains, there is a design behind export controls and sanctions. To know about might help to prepare for the unexpected and manage the damage.
- ‘Customs representation – the main pitfall’ by Anouck Biernaux and Evguenia Dereviankine, Attorneys at law, PARADIGMES cabinet d’avocats. Both, the direct/ indirect customs representative and the represented person have their responsibilities and liabilities. The main pitfall is not being clear about them. So, where to draw the line – who is responsible for what?
- ‘Holders of customs procedures and their costly mistakes’ by Enrika Naujoke, Editor of Customs Compliance & Risk Management journal. Several holders of customs procedures can be involved in a single movement of goods, for example, holders of transit and customs warehousing procedures.
