We are pleased to share that the General Meeting of CKC Members was successfully held on 8 February in Brussels and online.

Participants from Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Lithuania, Finland, Bulgaria, the UK and Switzerland exchanged views on the organisation and development of the CKC and shared their ideas on how to promote customs knowledge in the EU. It promises to be a busy and interesting year with the CKC Work Programme discussed at the meeting.

The meeting also included a discussion with the President Massimo De Gregorio and members of the CONFIAD. Challenges in the activities of customs brokers, prospects for their certification and innovations of the EU Customs Reform in this area were discussed.

We thank our Directors Anthony Buckley, Enrika Naujokė, Zandra Horgan, Management Council Members Kevin Shakespeare, Hans Michael Wolffgang, Pieter Haesaert, Momchil Antov and members Annette Reiser, Armin Belle, Boryana Peycheva, Debora Abadi, Erika Besuspariene, Ivo Tärno, Kieran Gleeson, Mark Rowbotham for the excellent organisation and fruitfull participation in themeeting.

We look forward to seeing all of our members at a face-to-face meeting next year and hope to continue working together on an ongoing basis.
